Blue Diamond Gemstone Panning is a family-owned attraction proudly operated across three generations. From gemstone panning and fossil hunting to goats, playgrounds, caves, and outdoor fun, we’re here to give families a hands-on experience they’ll remember.

Originally founded more than 30 years ago as Panner’s Creek, Blue Diamond has grown over the years, but the original vision has stayed the same: create an educational, enjoyable, and safe place where kids, families, school groups, and rock lovers can explore the world of geological discovery.

Our owners and their children are often on-site, helping keep the experience personal, welcoming, and true to the family tradition that started it all.

Hands-On Fun for Kids

This place is awesome! Im so thankful to of found it!! The staff here is so helpful and friendly. They make you feel like theyve known you for for ages. Love the atmosphere and all the welcoming vibes you get at this establishment. Praying that their blessed in their business for many years to come.

Wow what a gem of a small business.

I am so glad my friend recommended this place to us, we had been to other places in there area and of course my kids fell in love with gems. This place has so much to offer. The buckets are huge and have so much in them and you can find even more treasures on the ground here.

Great for Parties & Groups

We rented the place for a 6 year old's birthday party and all of the kids loved it. The employees were extremely helpful and interacting with the kids to make it even more fun for them. They also have a nice gift shop to buy bigger gems and jewelry.

Large buckets are sold until 45 minutes before closing.

Plan ahead: large bucket sales end at 5:15 PM on weekdays and 6:15 PM on weekends.

NO ADMISSION FEE with purchase of any bucket.
$8 Admission fee if you DO NOT purchase a bucket and just want to play and pan from the ground. (Ages 2-13)
 Please be advised that if you have not made an official party reservation with us, we respectfully request that you refrain from bringing cake, presents, or decorations.
No outside tools and equipment allowed on the property. 
Every week a mystery bucket will be hidden for you to find!

Included in the fee:
- access to the goats
- all of our playgrounds
- our man made cave adventures
- access to search on the ground

Buckets are an additional cost, but it is not required, you can just come here to play.

We do close the entire property at 4pm please plan accordingly.

​On site, we have two large covered outdoor sluices for panning. We also have a heated, enclosed sluice as well. We offer a mobile sluice perfect for parties at your house, field trips, school PTA events, church events and more.
